The day the sun turned red

 Four years ago today, I noticed that the sky had turned a dusty colour and the sun had turned a weird shade of orange. (Not exactly red, though I think it makes the title sound more dramatic. I'll let you be the judges.)

The strange, hazy colouration of the sky and sun was apparently caused by Storm Ophelia, an ex-hurricane which brought lots of Saharan dust to the UK.
