Kestrel Close - January 2023

Another recently-completed street is Kestrel Close, a small development of about ten bungalows built off Westfield Drive. It is the third road to be built off Westfield Drive, the others being Grove Road right at the end near Epinal Way, which has been there for a long time, and Brockington Place, a small cul-de-sac with five homes built by William Davis in around 2012. Kestrel Close sits in between the two.

Initially the new street had this cardboard sign...

...which was later replaced with this undersized sign.

As of when I last came by this way and actually went to look inside (January), the junction itself still wasn't paved, and a plank of wood next to the kerb was being used as a crude way of 'dropping the kerb'.

Looking towards the houses from near the entrance from Westfield Drive.

A little drainage pond. Nice.

Looking back towards Westfield Drive.

(In case you're wondering, it's the same pond.)
