Another street name anomaly - Margaret Keay Road or Margaret Keay Way?

About two months ago, I visited the university campus, passing along Margaret Keay Road.
Or was it Margaret Keay Road?
Because halfway up the hill, near Elvyn Way, I found a street name sign which read Margaret Keay Way instead.
Had I stumbled upon yet another pair of roads with a duplicate name? Indeed, Rutland Way (which runs behind Hazelrigg and Rutland) and Union Way (from in front of Rigg-Rut to the university gates) have twins; however, neither of their twin roads (both suffixed Street) are on campus, but elsewhere in town (off Ashby Road and Moor Lane respectively).
Moreover, both of the signs at the top of the hill where Margaret Keay Road crosses University Road say Road rather than Way. There was, of course, no sign right next to the anomalous sign which would have indicated a change of name at the junction with Elvyn Way. Finally, when I got home, A quick check on Google Street View of the sign right at the bottom of Margaret Keay Road near its junction with Mumford Way also says Road.
This summary investigation led me to conclude that the sign near Elvyn Way (as well as another sign ending in Way outside where the current Cayley Hall extension is that I also found on Google Street View but am uncertain if it is still there) is anomalous.
Getting a suffix mixed up is a rather major error, if you ask me.
