February 2019 was when severe flooding occurred following storms and snow. Most of these photos were taken at the Black Brook near the Morrisons supermarket and at Queen's Park.

The ducks briefly got a new pond after Queen's Park was flooded. And they seemed to enjoy it! 'Cause they all moved to the new pond. The mandarin duck in this picture, legend has it, moved to Charnwood Water after this new pond dried up.
